My stunning Lilac boy is available for stud duties. Excellent pedigree; UK Grand Champion, Grand Champion and Champion bloodlines. He is definitely a perfect example of the British Shorthair breed. He is an excellent temperament and a gentle giant with the ladies! Proven stud many times Ruston really is a fantastic chunky loving boy. Weighing 6KG, GCCF Registered, blood group B, fully vaccinated, leukaemia/chlamydia , flu and enteritis, snap tested negative, PKD (polycystic kidney disease) normal, vaccinated every 12 months, wormed every month and flead with frontline spray.
All queens must be in excellent health if they do not look healthy they will be turned away. vaccinations up to date and snap tested roughly about 48 hours before mating. Old snap test certificates will not be accepted.
You will need to bring your queen on the 2nd day of calling, she will then stay with us 3 to 5 days. They will be monitored by CCTV cameras. This allows me to see what is going on between the two of them without me interrupting. He has never missed a queen however, in the unlikely case I will issue one free mating within 4 weeks of the first one. Stud fee’s will be payable before mating. The queen must have all relevant and up to date documentation to copy and view this includes; pedigree, snap tests, results and vaccination card. She will also be required to be supplied with 5 days worth of food.
Upon arrival with your queen I will bring Ruston up from the cattery for you to view. I will show you pictures of the cattery which is also displayed here in the website. Your queen will be in a heated cattery in a good sized pen with a large run, toys and trees to climb on, bed, food and water at all times. Under no circumstances will you be able to go into the cattery due to the risk of infection please read here in the section titled ‘Viewing’ for more information on this. I aim to achieve the highest standard of hygiene and health to all my cats.
