(Updated August 2020) ***I don’t have any puppies available at the moment,*** but please contact me if you are interested in going on my waiting list for the next litter, which will hopefully be due sometime in autumn/winter 2020. (Of course, breeding dogs is not an exact science so dates may change, you understand!)
GENETICALLY HEALTH-TESTED pure-bred pugs from a Kennel Club ASSURED BREEDER, brought up in family home. KC registered, full pugs. I am an ASSURED BREEDER with the Kennel Club, registered with Champdogs and the Pug Dog Club. The puppies will also all be registered with the KC and will come with all their KC papers. (Please note; ALL the puppies I have ever bred have been KC registered and have been sold with all their KC papers. You wouldn't buy a car without any papers, “so it can go to a loving home” — why buy a dog without them?)
I fell in love with the breed when my mother-in-law got her two pugs, more than ten years ago. I now have four pugs of my own; the puppies' mum, their aunt, their grandma and their great-aunt. I have been breeding pugs since 2015 and my dogs are all Kennel Club registered.
Pugs are a companionable, loyal and good-natured little dog, bred as lapdogs to the Chinese royalty, and many a Chinese emperor kept a pug (or six) to lie beside the royal throne and look regal. They are the sort of dog who likes to be where you are, and mine follow me around the house (where they are allowed to!) You are never lonely when you have a pug. In fact, once you turn to the pugside, you'll never turn back!
Always all full pug puppies from a quality mating; both the parents are full, pure-bred pugs with five generations of pure-bred, KC registered pug ancestors, and both parents are Kennel Club registered. The puppies are show quality with several Crufts champions in their bloodlines. .
The mother is my dog, I don't own the father, but can show photos of him, and you can find him on the KC, Breeders Online or Champdogs website. The puppies will have been born and brought up in the middle of a family home with various other dogs, cats and several children. They will have been health-checked by the vet, micro-chipped and have had their first injections by the time they leave me. They will come to their new owners WITH ALL THEIR KC PAPERS, five weeks free insurance with the Kennel Club, and will be up to date with the usual sensible pet care medications (necessary regular worming and flea treatments).
I have had the mother GENETICALLY HEALTH TESTED for the five most common genetic diseases that may affect pugs, and the results are;
THE MOTHER HAS TESTED N/N CLEAR FOR
Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE),
Necrotizing Meningoencephalitis (NM),
Degenerative Myelopathy / Degenerative Radiculopathy (test known as DM Exon-2),
Primary Lens Luxation (PLL - an eye problem),
Pyruvate Kinease Deficiency (PKD),
and Malignant Hyperthermia (MH).
This means she is NOT a carrier of these diseases so CANNOT pass them onto her offspring.
