BreedersOnline expects all advertisers to give full and honest
information when placing their adverts and to accept and abide by,
in its entirety, the general code of ethics, expected from a
responsible breeder, as detailed in The Kennel Club's Code of Ethics (click
here to view this in full). Any Breeder failing to comply with
all or any of the aforementioned code of ethics will be determined
to have breached our terms and conditions and, as a result,
profiles/advertisements will be removed without notice - regardless
of payment or any previous membership agreement.
Privacy policy
BreedersOnline are committed to ensuring that your privacy is
protected. This policy explains how BreedersOnline use any
information collected about you.
When you supply any personal information to BreedersOnline we have
legal obligations towards you in the way we use that data. We must
collect the information fairly, that is, we must explain how we will
use it and tell you if we want to pass the information on to anyone
else.
Any information you provide to BreedersOnline will only be used
within BreedersOnline or its associated companies. We do not and
will never sell or pass on your information to marketing or
telesales companies. Your information will be disclosed where we are
obliged or permitted by law. Also, if you post or send offensive,
inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on or to
BreedersOnline or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on
BreedersOnline, the BreedersOnline can use whatever information that
is available to it about you to stop such behaviour. We reserve the
right to remove profiles of any registrant at anytime and restrict
access without notice.
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long
as you use the service you have requested, and remove it in the
event that the purpose has been met, or, in the case of
BreedersOnline membership you no longer wish to continue your
registration as a BreedersOnline member. Where personal information
is held for people who are not yet registered but have taken part in
other BreedersOnline services, that information will be held as long
as is necessary to ensure that the service is run smoothly. We will
ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in
accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
If you are notified on a BreedersOnline site that your
information may be used to allow the BreedersOnline to contact you
for "service administration purposes", this means that the
BreedersOnline may contact you for a number of purposes related to
the service you have signed up for. For example, we may wish to
provide you with password reminders or notify you that the
particular service has been suspended for maintenance. We may
however very occassionally contact you for promotional purposes,
such as notifying you of improvements to the service or new services
on BreedersOnline unless you specifically ask not to be contacted
for such purposes at the time you submit your information on the
site, or at a later time if you sign up specifically to receive such
information.
In the event that we contract with a third party to provide some
part of the information or service that you have requested,
BreedersOnline may provide your information to such third party, or
such third party may collect information from you on our behalf. By
written agreement, these third parties are required to implement
similar security measures and to process your information only as
authorized by BreedersOnline to fulfill the service(s) that they
have been contracted to provide. Other than these entities, who act
on our behalf, information you provide at this site will not be
transferred to unrelated third parties. However, please note that
personal information provided to this site may be subject to
disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas,
warrants or orders.

immediate effect, in which case subscriptions will not be refunded.
